What this is about

ibiza.fyi lists parties, activities and ferry connections on Ibiza. We earn from clicks on ticket links, not from selling data. We only measure what helps us make the site better.

The operator is based in Switzerland. The GDPR applies to visitors from the EU, alongside Swiss data protection law.

What we measure

After you agree, we record for each page view:

• the page opened and its language
• where you came from: search engine, AI chat, social network or direct
• how long the page was visible and how far you scrolled
• whether you are on a phone, tablet or computer
• the country code our host provides

Your IP address is not stored. We only see the country code, never the address itself. We collect no names, email addresses or payment details at all.

Ticket clicks

When you click a ticket link we count that click even without your consent. No cookie is set and nothing is stored that could identify you: only the event, the page you were on, your country code and your language setting. The basis is our legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, because without that number we do not know whether the site works.

Cookies

We set three cookies, none of them for advertising:

• ibz_consent remembers your choice so the question does not appear on every visit. Expires after a year.
• ibz_vid tells returning visits from new ones. A random number with no link to you as a person. Expires after a year.
• ibz_sid groups what happens within one visit. Expires 30 minutes after the last page view.

If you decline, only ibz_consent is set. The other two are never created. Separately, next-intl stores your language choice in NEXT_LOCALE so the start page opens in your language.

Legal basis

For measuring page views: your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Without it we set no identifier and send no page view.

Who processes the data

• Vercel runs the site and processes the connection data needed for that. Vercel also counts page views without cookies (Vercel Analytics); only we see those numbers and they carry no identifier.
• Supabase stores the measurements in a database in the EU.
• ClubTickets is our ticketing partner. Clicking a ticket link takes you off our site, where their privacy policy applies.

Images from ClubTickets

Event images sit on ClubTickets' server and are loaded straight from there as the page builds. ClubTickets therefore learns your IP address, as happens with any image from another domain. This is independent of your consent, because otherwise the page would stay empty.

How long

Measurements are deleted after twelve months. That is enough for the analysis; longer periods gain us nothing.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion or restriction, and you may object to processing. Since we store no names, we cannot link individual measurements to a person. Any data protection authority will accept complaints.

Change your choice

Your decision stands until you change it. On withdrawal we delete the identifiers from your browser immediately.
